Cautionary Warning: For our next book club, we’ll be reading a book that could cause you to want to assassinate John Lennon. Possibly. Okay, probably not, but it happened once in the 80s. That’s right, we'll be hanging out with the poster boy for teenage angst himself, Holden Caulfield. So strap in, put on an ugly hunting hat, light up a cig, and let’s explore one of the most banned books of its time: The Catcher in the Rye.
